Top of the Rock Observation Deck, the newly opened, 3-tiered observation deck on the 67th, 69th and 70th floors of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, is New York City's most amazing attraction!. Opened ended time on the tickets, so we timed it to be there a little before sunset to see the city in the daylight, at sunset, and all lit up at night... First (lowest) level deck on the Top of the Rock. There are two more levels once you get off the elevator! Going through security and getting up to the elevator should only take 10-15 minutes tops. Once you're off the elevator, you're at the lowest of three levels at the observatory! There are two more levels to climb up—the second level.
